Privacy Policy

JOBSHOT ("we," "us") provides an app that helps contractors document completed jobs and publish them to their websites. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Account informationName, email, phone number, business name, and login details.
Project informationJob addresses or locations, service type, the problem described, the work performed, and notes you enter.
PhotosBefore and after photos you take or upload, along with photo details such as date and location data.
Website connection informationDetails needed to connect your WordPress website to JOBSHOT.
Device and usage informationDevice type, app version, crash reports, and how you use the app.
Payment informationPayments are processed by [Apple / Google / Stripe]. We do not store full card numbers.

App Permissions

  • Camera and photos: to capture and upload project photos.
  • Location: to tag a project's location. This is optional, and you can enter an address manually instead.

You can turn these off anytime in your device settings.

How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your projects
  • To generate project descriptions and website content, including with AI tools
  • To publish completed projects to your connected website
  • To provide support and send account notices
  • To improve, secure, and fix the app
  • To process subscriptions

Published Content

When you publish a project, its photos and description appear publicly on your website. You choose what gets published.

We recommend not including homeowner names or exact house numbers.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers that help run JOBSHOT, such as hosting, AI processing, analytics, and payments
  • With your connected website, when you publish
  • When required by law, or to protect our rights and users

AI Processing

Project details and photos may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate content. These providers may not use your data to train their models [confirm with your AI provider].

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and data anytime in the app under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing us.

Projects already published to your website remain there until you remove them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No system is 100% secure.

Children

JOBSHOT is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's information.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll post changes here and update the effective date.
